David K is a veteran anarchist who lives in Athens. He previously lived in most cities of Australia, Turkiye, Italy and a few other places in eastern Europe.

Innocuous Interests is a monthly blog in which he reflects on current events, anarchist theory, anarchist history, cultural and artistic theory and the cartoonish hellscape that is modern existence. Some of the posts are brand new, some are drawn from a backlog of hundreds of thousands of words he's written over the last twenty-five years of being annoyed.

This blog is free, though there is a Patreon where you can throw this author some money, as he still hasn't abolished rent, capitalism or money. Yet.

The internet sucks. Pointlessly scrolling through animations you don't care about, waiting for broken dynamic content to load, trying to find something using a search engine that tries to sell you deliberate keyword mismatches, clicking through cookie permission screens, trying to mute video that won't stop playing, being bugged to join the mailing list - the internet sucks.

This site is not designed to be retro, it's just designed to not be shit. And the best way to do that is to be as minimalist as possible. So here we are.
